You, Me, and the Emerald City

My husband and I have been looking forward to our big trip to Seattle since January!  We have been incredibly curious about the Northwest coast and finally decided to make the long trek from Houston to this beautiful part of the US.  We first stopped in Seattle (The Emerald City) and had a magnificent time milling about the Pike Place Market.  We bought the most amazing fruits, vegetables, and seafood to cook at our wonderful beach house on the coast.  We arrived at Seabrook where we rented a quaint, french cottage to ease our minds for the week and have a late 4th wedding anniversary celebration.  I did however talk him into stopping by H&M on the way because we sadly do not have one in Texas! (very sad)  I bought the cutest sequin tank and wore it to the market Sunday morning.

H&M tank, Zara cardigan, Express boyfriend crops, TOMS shoes
Pike Place Market on Sunday morning
There was tons of fresh seafood
The crab looked delicious but we got shrimp instead

Gorgeous flowers at the Pike Place Market and cheap too!
Our beautiful french beachhouse

We bought so much fruit and have almost eaten all of it!

wow what a cute beach house! I've always wanted to visit Seattle. I agree with you the first SATC movie was WAY better. My boyfriend actually takes my photos. We are musicians but we both love photography too. :)

First of all, welcome to the West coast! Pike Place is so much fun. I just go there when I visit and dream of having a flower market as they do in my own time. So many choices!

Great find, by the way at H&M, the top looks wonderful.

And what an adorable cottage! How did you find it?
Thanks so much for stopping by

Oh my goodness, your beach house was a DREAM! How fabulous! I am so absolutely jealous. :)

I really enjoyed your photos from your trip. Like you two, my husband and I have been hankering to visit Seattle. Right now it's just not in the budget, but someday...

And by the way - that top from H&M is AWESOME! I love it!!!

Thanks for stopping by today. I have only read Nina Garcia's One Hundred and really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to picking up her Look Book soon. From all of the reviews I've read, it looks to be a great resource. =)

Can I just say that I am super jealous of your Seattle trip? I dated a guy who lived in Washington for three years and he never took me :(

I love your sequined top! So flashy, but I the way you paired it with casual items is cute :)

Regarding California weather... it's pretty great down south, but up north where I live, it can get pretty unpredictable.
