MakeUp Tutorial - Coppering Eyes

This is my very first make up tutorial!! I am super excited to share it with you all.  I have wanted to do one for a while, but kept putting it off and finally it has arrived.  I have slowly made friends with IMovie so I will probably be posting more and more videos in the near future.  Now, I want to know all of your thoughts and opinions on this video.  Please don't hesitate to tell me what you guys think.  I do realize it is rather long, and that is definitely something I am going to work on for the next one! I am going to try to do one make up tutorial a week and start uploading them all to my own YouTube Channel.  So without further ado, here it is!!  And please subscribe to my YouTube Channel HERE too!! I will be uploading many more tutorials on a weekly basis!!

Ima Ima Swing it This a Way

Now I usually like to pile on the clothes, accessories, scarves, jewels, you name it! But for this particular outfit, I decided a little sequins and a little leather would work just fine.  You might remember this sequin tank that I picked up from H&M from when I was in Seattle (HERE).  I love SHINEY tops and I love H&M so I plan on wearing this top until these sequins fall off!  This is also the leather mini that I bought for $16 at a thrift shop down in the Houston Montrose area and wore to a friend's birthday party (HERE).
I thought I would bring a little holiday sparkle since the season is finally here!! YAY!
I was also excited to get to swing my hair and it actually moved! I have been growing it out for an entire year now and this is actually REALLY long for me. I vowed to my husband that I would grow it for one more year, then we will see what's next!
I am so glad to be back to my normal (what's normal right?) schedule (me, schedule? I don't think so)! I did miss blogging and all my lovely blogger friends and followers!! Welcome back everyone!!

Happy Thanksgiving to All

Every Thanksgiving we make our way up to the Smokey Mountains in the beautiful state of Tennessee.  My husband's family owns a charming log cabin house set high atop a wooded mountain with stunning views of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.  We are so lucky to have such a blessed family to welcome us here every year and they were all so excited to take pictures for my new blog!
This is the view of the state park that we get to look at every morning that we are here.  It is absolutely breath taking.

This is my incredible Uncle Tim. Not only does he make the best margaritas in the entire world, he can seriously rock an old school Kiss concert tee!

This is my sister in law's husband, Park.  I had to get a picture of him in his tweed pub style hat. He was bringing the style this year! (I was so proud)

This is my husband with his niece Claire.  She had to show me her toe nails that she just had done!

This is me and my husband on the back deck before dinner. Well, it was a while before dinner, but we did finally get to eat!  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! And thank you so much to all of my followers! I cherish each and every one of you!!

Captured Photography Styled by ELL

Shan (my photographer cousin) and I have been doing quite a bit of work together lately and it hasn't been ALL on my blog!  I have started styling some of the photo shoots for her photography business and I must say we make quite a team. We love shooting and styling together, in fact, sometimes we do it for hours on end and I know we have tired out our clients on many occasions!  My gorgeous friend, Becca, decided to do a fashion photo shoot and I had the pleasure of doing her hair color and cut beforehand as well as pick out her outfits and style her the entire shoot.  I must say, we all had SO MUCH FUN! We ended the night with Becca in the pool (it was cold, she was a good sport) and a nice glass of wine.
So, I wanted to share with you some of the shots we got of this beautiful lady!

Let's Hear it for the Leather Shorts

I have definitely stocked up on leather pieces for this Fall/Winter including leather shorts, a leather skirt, leather vest, and new black leather bomber.  I am definitely saying HELLO to rocker glam this season!  With that being said, I have recently become infatuated with shoving draping, billowy blouses into tight structured bottoms.  I don't know where I got this from or when it even started but I find myself doing this all the time! And this outfit was no different.  I did pick up this cotton candy pink top with black polka dots at the ever popular H&M when I was in London. (WOOT!)  I already had this outfit all dreamed up in my mind as I took this little beauty to the cash wrap.  When I finally got home and put everything together, I must say I was pretty pleased!
Oh yes I almost forgot. Most of the time I do my own hair color, but this last time I really wanted to get it done and actually enjoy the salon experience. (when you are a hairstylist, you don't have these anymore) So, my lovely friend, Lindsay, who works at Urbana Hair Studio in Kingwood did it for me. Wow, and did she ever get it HOT RED this time, I love it! Thanks Linds!

So Many Dresses but I Only Need One

I know it is not even Thanksgiving yet, but I can't help but look for holiday dresses for the upcoming Christmas parties! Since I have been taking it easy lately, I have been online more than normal (I know hard to believe because I am ALWAYS online), and I have found some really fabulous finds.  Not all of these radiant frocks break the bank either, which is great since we all have to buy a million Christmas presents!
I have been to so many online stores ranging from Modcloth and Nastygal (my newly found love) to Free People.  There are so many gorgeous options that I am having a really hard time making a final decision. That's where you guys come in!  I have narrowed it down to 6 dresses and I want my lovelies to help me decide which one will be best.

These were the dresses I found at Nastygal.

I am such a sequins lover! Anything that is sparkly and shiny, I buy.

This is the perfect red dress, but do I want red for the holidays or maybe something different this year?

And shiny AGAIN!

Here are the dresses that I found at Modcloth.

This one is pretty disco-esque but I love the flashiness of it! (of course)

This is inspired by my new Mad Men obsession.  I though I could top it off with retro curls and hot red lips!

This dress reminds me of the Prada Fall collection. I love the bustier embellishment on this frock!

I found these on Free People, which is my favorite store EVER!

I love lace anything, I am such a sucker for it. I swear I have at least 4 black lace tops hanging in my closet.

I love red and black together, you can never go wrong with this combination.

This ivory lace (of course) dress looks so wintery to me. Especially paired with black tights. I am telling you, black tights go with EVERYTHING!

So I want to know!!! Which one!!???
